  • About Me
    Bhargavi is the founder of Deep Counselling and Consultancy Services. Her career spans over more than 20 years of social work and psychotherapy practice. She has worked with individuals, families, groups and the community. Her Master of Social Work education along with ongoing training, has broadened her skills, knowledge and kept her current. Her experience started with community development, and then furthered by working with individuals and families experiencing violence in intimate relations. It transitioned to more clinical support in the Health, and later in the Mental Health Field. With a passion for supporting individuals and familes, she has continually upgraded herself with ongoing current practices and trainings. With a belief that hope is very important for a person to attain their personal goals, Bhargavi is passionate to work with you to restore hope, overcome hurdles and heal. Bhargavi strives to provide a comfortable and safe environment, with a guided support for self-reflection. Self-reflection helps you in exploring the realities that hinder in reaching the personal goals and live a happy and fulfilling life. Bhargavi is committed to providing you with culturally competent services. Her approach is strength and empowerment based. She uses CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Emotionally-focused therapeutic intervention. She employs the best practice method and works with a recovery-based approach in her practice.

    - Presently an advocate and ally for Internationally Educated Social Workers. - Member of the Parent Council at Kindree Public School & Lisgar Middle School. - Diversity Committee member in Plum Tree Park Public School. - Mentor for the 1325 Robotics Team of Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School. - Volunteer as a Board Member during the inception stage of the Malton Community Health Centre. - Pioneered in opening Indian Epilepsy Association, Baroda Chapter. - Supported the victims of the earthquake in 1995 at Maharashtra, India.
